Swarasthana 2.1

Swarasthana is an educational tool designed for beginners and enthusiasts of Carnatic Music.

• Sing along and practice saraḷi, jhaṇṭa, dhāṭu varisais, and alaṅkārams in any of the 72 mēlās, along with over 25 pentatonic (auḍava) and 8 hexatonic (śāḍava) ragas. Adjust the sruthi and tempo to suit your preferences. You can choose between playing on veena, guitar, flute, or Violin with the new update in Version 2.0.
• Enhance your pitch accuracy by utilizing the Sruthi Suddham feature, which includes a real-time pitch tracker to monitor your pitch while singing.
• Sharpen your ability to identify swaras with the Swara Gnyanam feature, presented as an engaging game where random patterns of 1 to 4 swaras are generated for you to recognize.
• Newly introduced in Version 2.0, test your knowledge of scales/ragas with the Scale Identification game. The app plays a melody based on a randomly selected raga for you to identify. Tailor the difficulty level by choosing from popular melas or all melas, along with popular or all pentatonic (auḍava) and hexatonic (śāḍava) ragas.
